Was at GNC the other day with a group of friends and noticed they had this sort of protein shake that had roughly 20g carbs, 24g protein and 1g fat and was advertised as a 'meal replacement shake' and was encouraged to have twice for a serving.
I asked the person who was in charge of the store at the time and he wasn't very helpful... makes me think the people at GNC know little to nothing about supplementation/bodybuilding.
Anyway, was wondering what the basic opinion on the shakes are. Also worth noting that for a 2.2KG tub, it was about £45 (like $70-$75) which is considerably cheaper than eating the standard chicken breast and cup of rice.
Thanks in advance.
