What's up guys. Decided to make an account and see if a few of you can help with some questions I have. Let me start off by saying, this is my first time in a gym. I've been going for the past month, 5 days a week, focusing on one body part each day. I do little to no cardio. the first 2 weeks of working out, I was consuming about 900-1000 calories a day and felt super full. Little by little my appetite has gone up over the days. Now I am starting to count macros. Here are my stats
Weight - 179
BF - I estimate around 22% (BODPOD tomorrow)
TDEE - 2330
The past week my macros have been about 330g Protein, 180g Carb, and anywhere from 50-65g Fat, depending what I ate. Around 2500-2600 calories. This has been my diet the past week.
I eat mostly clean (chicken, egg whites, broccoli, avacado, fish). 1 cup of milk a day and 1 orange. I also have 2 shakes a day of Whey Protein, which is 700 calories alone.
My questions are, am I eating too much protein and not enough carbs? I'm looking to bulk lean muscle and shed fat in the process. I am going to start doing cardio after every workout, probably about 25 minutes.
